CANCELLED! Poetry as a tool for working with environmental emotions -workshop on Nov 7, 2023
Anxiety about the climate disaster? Grief about biodiversity loss? Guilt and apprehension about balancing work and family life at a time of accelerating ecological uncertainty?
Environmental emotions are big. It’s difficult to know where to begin with them.
Talking helps. And writing helps.
Join our Zoom workshop on Tuesday 7 November 2023 at 6–8pm to find peer support and to learn new ways of understanding, expressing and managing environmental emotions.
In the first part of this workshop, Taneli Saari, executive director of Tunne ry, will review wellbeing skills for handling environmental emotions. In the second part, writing coach John Weston will introduce creative writing tools for working with environmental emotions, with a focus on nature poetry.
This is a beginner’s-level workshop – no experience necessary!
Register here by 7.11.2023.
